PennMOVES Begins Collection May 5

April 23, 2014

Since 2008, PennMOVES has collected over three quarters of a million pounds of items which students can’t take with them when they leave campus. Instead of ending up in a landfill, these items are donated back into the community. This year the effort is being managed by Penn Residential Services and Penn Eco-reps in collaboration with Goodwill and Philabundance (for food donations).

Collection from College Houses will begin on May 5. Students who live on campus should bring their donations to the specific location designated for their campus residence. Faculty, staff and students living off campus or in fraternity and sorority houses should bring their donations to the Goodwill truck at the Hamilton Village or one of the two permanent Goodwill collection bins that have been placed on campus. One bin is located in under Sansom Place West and the other is outside of Rodin College House.

Visit Penn's Residential Services website for more information.
