Wharton Makes Staff Town Hall a Zero-waste Event

November 25, 2013

The Wharton Staff Town Hall and Staff Appreciation Gathering, a luncheon held twice each academic year, offers an opportunity for Dean Thomas S. Robertson and other Wharton senior administrators to share important updates and news with all of the School’s staff members. The most recent luncheon, held on Nov. 6, 2013, was a Zero Waste event that resulted in an impressive 72% total diversion rate, which was the second highest diversion rate achieved since Wharton started promoting Zero Waste events in July 2013.

Compost collection takes place at several locations on campus, including all campus dining halls, Golkin Hall, and Joe's Cafe at Wharton.
