Murphy Laboratory Building Energy Audit

New Bolton Center

Murphy Laboratory is an energy intensive laboratory space at New Bolton Center that implemented an energy audit as part of a Fall 2011 Green Fund comprehensive pilot project.  This project builds off of a Spring 2010 Green Fund project that provided NBC with a sub-metering system to measure and manage electricity use in campus buildings.

The Murphy Lab Energy Audit provides data on building equipment, lighting and energy consumption to identify opportunities for conservation and energy management improvements. It also provides baselines for energy use and heating oil consumption and shows the impacts of energy efficiency improvement projects.
