Connect to Penn Video Network Podcasts

Step-by-step instructions to subscribe to the Penn Video Network podcast

(These instructions are applicable only to iTunes versions 6.x and later.)

For those people using iTunes as their preferred podcast "aggregator," follow these instructions:

- Launch iTunes (version 6 or later).

- Go to the Source menu and select the Podcasts option.

- Go to the Advanced menu, and select Subscribe to Podcast ...

- Copy and paste the address below in the "Subscribe to Podcast" box:

http://www.upenn.edu/video/podcast/pvn/podcast.xml

- Click OK.

- iTunes will then add "Penn Video Network" to the list of podcast subscriptions.

- To display the list of available episodes to this podcast, click on the triangle next to the podcast name ("Penn Video Network"). This will open the list of episodes.

Depending upon the user's selected preferences, iTunes will download one or more "episodes." To receive subsequent episodes, click the "GET" button next to the desired title.

- Double-clicking on a desired episode will play that episode in iTunes, in the display box.

Users with video iPods will then be able to synch their iPod to their computer, and transfer these files to the iPod's Library, to watch on the go!
