Cornelius Weygant aimed Tuesdays at Ten at his former students. The book consists of multiple lectures and lessons that he had taught and copied down almost verbatim. It outlined the history of Pennsylvania, the state that he loved so much, and the University of Pennsylvania, the school that molded him. It was a hit with many of his former students.

Cornelius Weygandt (1871-1957) was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and authored over eighteen books during the course of his life.
