Cheryl Shipman advises and assists students applying for major fellowships and research grants, mostly for graduate study. She is a Penn alumna, originally with a background in Middle Eastern studies, now paying attention to issues of land use, particularly locally-grown food and experiments in locally self-sustainable communities.
