Erasmus Mundus offers:
- Scholarships to students and researchers of exceptional quality to follow an Erasmus Mundus
Masters Course or Joint Doctorate at two or more European universities - Nearly 150 masters and doctoral courses to choose from
- Scholarships to promote the exchange of students between European and non-European
universities – study periods can vary between 3 months and 3 years - A scheme open to students throughout the world

Students choose a course and apply directly to it for admission and funding. (Action 1 on the Erasmus Mundus site)
