How to Apply

M&TSI will select up to 50 participants to attend the summer program. Selections will be based on academic achievement, leadership in extracurricular activities, including school and non-school-based activities like student government, community service, artistic and cultural, and athletic activities.

All applications are submitted online with supporting documentation mailed after the online application is complete. Applicants will receive instructions on how to submit the supporting documentation at the conclusion of the online application.

The application period for M&TSI 2013 is now closed. If you would like to check the status of your application, please contact Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs at 610-265-9401. Admissions decisions will be sent out by the M&T Program via email on April 15th and April 16th.

In addition to the online application, please submit the following items:

  • Official high school transcript (including Fall 2012 grades)
  • Two letters of recommendation from teachers (preferably one math or science teacher) in standard letter format. Letters may be submitted electronically or via snail mail.
  • 500 word essay on the following topic: Recall an experience that sparked your interest in studying both management and technology concurrently.  Reflect on your experience as it relates to your interest in attending the Management & Technology Summer Institute.
  • Test Scores: SAT I or ACT and AP exams. If the SAT has not been taken, please submit PSAT scores. TOEFL exams are required for non-native English speakers. Photocopies of test scores will be accepted. To request sending your PSAT or SAT scores directly from the College Board, M&TSI is listed under CEEB code 6970.
  • $75 non-refundable application fee.
The deadline for all application materials is March 1, 2013. We will begin accepting applications in January. Application review will take place in March and students will be notified of their decision via email on April 15th and April 16th.
