Grading Pass/Fail Courses

Course sections may be set up on the Course Term File with a SPECIAL GRADING RULE of "PF", which means that students may only take the course for grades of "pass" or "fail"

For course sections with special grading rules of "PF":

- SRS changes all enrolled students' grade type to "PF"
- Instructors receive grade sheets and award students letter grades
according to the students' grade schemes
- SRS transforms the letter grades to "P" for pass or "F" for fail
on the student's academic record.
