Alex's Lemonade Stand at Sheraton

In an effort to continue the fight against pediatric cancer, with a lemonade stand inspired by Alex Scott who passed away on August 1, Sherton University City will host Alex's Lemonade Stand on Friday, October 29. Fox's Good Day Philadelphia will  be at 36th and Chestnut St. at 7 a.m. to kick off the event. Performances are  scheduled throughout  the day including the Penn Band, a dance group and a choral group from UCHS. Cookie Monster will make a special appearance at 11 a.m. as will Alexandra's Scott's parents, Liz and Jay Scott. At 11:30 a.m., 106.1 Smooth Jazz will broadcast, Off the Beat will sing at 2 p.m., the Phillie Phanatic stops in at 3 p.m., followed by the U.S. Postal Choir and the Mummers at 4:45 p.m.
