Student Spotlight with Erica Ball

For Penn graduate student Erica Ball, what began as a childhood fascination with sound grew into a passion for composing and performing music. A Ph.D. candidate in the School of Arts & Sciences’ Department of Music, Ball says Penn is a great environment for composers because of the Department’s outstanding faculty and its working connection with the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
