Penn’s global health partnerships strive to improve health in the developing world through research, education, and service collaborations.

These initiatives are guided by the principle that the health of populations is best improved through the combined efforts, across multiple disciplines, of health professionals, scientists, and educators.

Penn has developed global health partnerships with geographically diverse academic institutions in eight developing countries. These partnerships aspire to make concrete, sustainable contributions to the most critical health issues in each developing country, while creating long-term, highly visible, and sustainable programs, with diverse financial support and a broad base of involvement by Penn faculty, students, and staff.
